LXX Isaiah 44:9
Vain Idols Profit Nothing
LXX:
And they were not hearkening then, the ones shaping and carving all [the] vain [idols], doing their wishes which do not benefit them. But they are their own witnesses. They shall not see, and they shall not know, that they should be ashamed -- he who shapes mighty and a carved molten casting for unprofitable [things]. Behold, all the ones partaking with him shall be ashamed --

και ουκ ήκουσαν τότε οι πλάσσοντες και οι γλύφοντες πάντες μάταιοι ποιούντες τα καταθύμια αυτών α ουκ ωφελήσει αυτούς και μάρτυρες αυτών εισιν ουκ όψονται και ου γνώσονται ίνα αισχυνθώσι τις πλάσσει ισχυρόν και γλυπτόν χωνεύσει εις ανωφελή ιδού πάντες οι κοινωνούντες αυτώ αισχυνθήσονται
