LXX Nehemiah 9:29
LXX:
And you attested to them, to turn them to your law. But they acted superior, and hearkened not of your commandments. And in your judgments they sinned, (which a man doing them shall live by them;) and they gave [their] back [unto] resisting persuasion, and they hardened their neck, and they did not hearken.

και επεμαρτύρω αυτοίς επιστρέψαι αυτούς εις τον νόμον σου αυτοί δε υπερηφανεύσαντο και ουκ ήκουσαν των εντολών σου και εν τοις κρίμασί σου ήμαρτον α ποιήσας αυτά άνθρωπος ζήσεται εν αυτοίς και έδωκαν νώτον απειθούντα και τράχηλον αυτών εσκλήρυναν και ουκ ήκουσαν
