And said the rulers of [the] sons of Ammon to Hanun, Is David glorifying your father in your eyes, to send to you comforters? Is it not that they may search out the city, and to spy out the land his servants came to you?

και είπον οι άρχοντες υιών Αμμών προς Ανάν μη δοξάζων Δαυίδ τον πατέρα σου εν οφθαλμοίς σου απέστειλέ σοι παρακαλούντας ουχί όπως εξερευνήσωσι την πόλιν και του κατασκοπήσαι την γην ήλθον οι παίδες αυτού προς σε
