LXX:
And the king placed the tribune (upon whom the king rested upon his hand) over the gate. And the people trampled him at the gate, and he died as the man of God said, who spoke with the messenger coming down to him.

και ο βασιλεύς κατέστησε τον τριστάτην εφ΄ ον ο βασιλεύς επανεπαύετο επί της χειρός αυτού επί της πύλης και συνεπάτησεν αυτόν ο λαός επί της πύλης και απέθανε καθώς ελάλησεν ο άνθρωπος του θεού ος ελάλησεν εν τω καταβήναι τον άγγελον προς αυτόν
