And David did not bring forth alive a man and woman to bring unto Gath, saying, Lest they announce against us, saying, Thus David does. And thus [was] his ordinance all the days which David settled in [the] country of the Philistines.

και άνδρα και γυναίκα ουκ εζωογόνει Δαυίδ του εισαγαγείν εις Γεθ λέγων μήποτε αναγγείλωσιν καθ΄ ημών λέγοντες τάδε Δαυίδ ποιεί και τόδε το δικαίωμα αυτού πάσας τας ημέρας ας εκάθητο Δαυίδ εν αγρώ των αλλοφύλων
