And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband:

To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.

Τοῖς δὲ γεγαμηκόσιν παραγγέλλω οὐκ ἐγὼ ἀλλ᾽ ὁ κύριος, γυναῖκα ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς μὴ χωρισθῆναι·
