There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him; but the things that come out of a man, these are what defile him.”

οὐδέν ἐστιν ἔξωθεν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς αὐτὸν ὃ δύναται κοινῶσαι αὐτόν, ἀλλὰ τὰ ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκπορευόμενά ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖνά ἐστιν τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ἄνθρωπον.¶
