But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

“But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.

וַ תַּשְׁק֥וּ אֶת ־ הַ נְּזִרִ֖ים יָ֑יִן וְ עַל ־ הַ נְּבִיאִים֙ צִוִּיתֶ֣ם לֵ אמֹ֔ר לֹ֖א תִּנָּבְאֽוּ ׃
