I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves,

עַל ־ חוֹמֹתַ֣יִ ךְ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הִפְקַ֙דְתִּי֙ שֹֽׁמְרִ֔ים כָּל ־ הַ יּ֧וֹם וְ כָל ־ הַ לַּ֛יְלָה תָּמִ֖יד לֹ֣א יֶחֱשׁ֑וּ הַ מַּזְכִּרִים֙ אֶת ־ יְהוָ֔ה אַל ־ דֳּמִ֖י לָ כֶֽם ׃
