But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where [is] he?

But a man dies and is laid low; he breathes his last, and where is he?

וְ גֶ֣בֶר יָ֭מוּת וַֽ יֶּחֱלָ֑שׁ וַ יִּגְוַ֖ע אָדָ֣ם וְ אַיּֽ וֹ ׃
