And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not [unto him], nor consent.

וַ יֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלָ֛י ו כָּל ־ הַ זְּקֵנִ֖ים וְ כָל ־ הָ עָ֑ם אַל ־ תִּשְׁמַ֖ע וְ ל֥וֹא תֹאבֶֽה ׃
