And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with man.

וְהַנַּ֣עַר שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל הֹלֵ֥ךְ וְגָדֵ֖ל וָט֑וֹב גַּ֚ם עִם־ יְהוָ֔ה וְגַ֖ם עִם־ אֲנָשִֽׁים׃ ס
