_KJV:
Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, [saying], Because I have asked him of the LORD.
_BSB:
So in the course of time, Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.”

וַ יְהִי֙ לִ תְקֻפ֣וֹת הַ יָּמִ֔ים וַ תַּ֥הַר חַנָּ֖ה וַ תֵּ֣לֶד בֵּ֑ן וַ תִּקְרָ֤א אֶת ־ שְׁמ וֹ֙ שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל כִּ֥י מֵ יְהוָ֖ה שְׁאִלְתִּֽי ו ׃
