And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.

Each Israelite took his position around the camp, and the entire Midianite army fled, crying out as they ran.

וַ יַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ תַּחְתָּ֔י ו סָבִ֖יב לַֽ מַּחֲנֶ֑ה וַ יָּ֧רָץ כָּל ־ הַֽ מַּחֲנֶ֛ה וַ יָּרִ֖יעוּ וַ יָּנֽוּסוּ ׃
