Now therefore put away, [said he], the strange gods which [are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

“Now, therefore,” he said, “get rid of the foreign gods among you and incline your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”

וְעַתָּ֕ה הָסִ֛ירוּ אֶת־ אֱלֹהֵ֥י הַנֵּכָ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑ם וְהַטּוּ֙ אֶת־ לְבַבְכֶ֔ם אֶל־ יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
