And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

Because He loved your fathers, He chose their descendants after them and brought you out of Egypt by His presence and great power,

וְ תַ֗חַת כִּ֤י אָהַב֙ אֶת ־ אֲבֹתֶ֔י ךָ וַ יִּבְחַ֥ר בְּ זַרְע֖וֹ אַחֲרָ֑י ו וַ יּוֹצִֽאֲ ךָ֧ בְּ פָנָ֛י ו בְּ כֹח֥וֹ הַ גָּדֹ֖ל מִ מִּצְרָֽיִם ׃
