That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.

so that they cannot teach you to do all the detestable things they do for their gods, and so cause you to sin against the LORD your God.

לְמַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא ־ יְלַמְּד֤וּ אֶתְ כֶם֙ לַ עֲשׂ֔וֹת כְּ כֹל֙ תּֽוֹעֲבֹתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשׂ֖וּ לֵֽ אלֹהֵי הֶ֑ם וַ חֲטָאתֶ֖ם לַ יהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵי כֶֽם ׃ ס
