If thou shalt hear [say] in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
_BSB:
If, regarding one of the cities the LORD your God is giving you to inhabit, you hear it said
_Hebrew:
כִּֽי ־ תִשְׁמַ֞ע בְּ אַחַ֣ת עָרֶ֗י ךָ אֲשֶׁר֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜י ךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְ ךָ֛ לָ שֶׁ֥בֶת שָׁ֖ם לֵ אמֹֽר ׃
