For I [am] the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I [am] holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
_BSB:
For I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, because I am holy. You must not defile yourselves by any creature that crawls along the ground.

כִּ֣י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֮ אֱלֹֽהֵי כֶם֒ וְ הִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּם֙ וִ הְיִיתֶ֣ם קְדֹשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י קָד֖וֹשׁ אָ֑נִי וְ לֹ֤א תְטַמְּאוּ֙ אֶת ־ נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵי כֶ֔ם בְּ כָל ־ הַ שֶּׁ֖רֶץ הָ רֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל ־ הָ אָֽרֶץ ׃
