Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I [am] the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

Therefore tell the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and deliver you from their bondage. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.

לָ כֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֥ר לִ בְנֵֽי ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֘ל אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֒ וְ הוֹצֵאתִ֣י אֶתְ כֶ֗ם מִ תַּ֙חַת֙ סִבְלֹ֣ת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְ הִצַּלְתִּ֥י אֶתְ כֶ֖ם מֵ עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וְ גָאַלְתִּ֤י אֶתְ כֶם֙ בִּ זְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּ בִ שְׁפָטִ֖ים גְּדֹלִֽים ׃
