And it came to pass after these things, [that] the butler of the king of Egypt and [his] baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

Some time later, the king’s cupbearer and baker offended their master, the king of Egypt.

וַ יְהִ֗י אַחַר֙ הַ דְּבָרִ֣ים הָ אֵ֔לֶּה חָֽטְא֛וּ מַשְׁקֵ֥ה מֶֽלֶךְ ־ מִצְרַ֖יִם וְ הָ אֹפֶ֑ה לַ אֲדֹנֵי הֶ֖ם לְ מֶ֥לֶךְ מִצְרָֽיִם ׃
