And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful [is] this place! this [is] none other but the house of God, and this [is] the gate of heaven.

And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven!”

וַ יִּירָא֙ וַ יֹּאמַ֔ר מַה ־ נּוֹרָ֖א הַ מָּק֣וֹם הַ זֶּ֑ה אֵ֣ין זֶ֗ה כִּ֚י אִם ־ בֵּ֣ית אֱלֹהִ֔ים וְ זֶ֖ה שַׁ֥עַר הַ שָּׁמָֽיִם ׃
