And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

They also carried off Abram’s nephew Lot and his possessions, since Lot was living in Sodom.

וַיִּקְח֨וּ אֶת־ ל֧וֹט וְאֶת־ רְכֻשׁ֛וֹ בֶּן־ אֲחִ֥י אַבְרָ֖ם וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ וְה֥וּא יֹשֵׁ֖ב בִּסְדֹֽם׃
