LXX:
And all the Jews, the ones in Moab, and among [the] sons of Ammon, and the ones in Edom, and the ones in all the land, heard that [the] king of Babylon granted a vestige to Judah, and that he placed over them Gedaliah son of Ahikam.

και πάντες οι Ιουδαίοι οι εν Μωάβ και εν υιοίς Αμμών και οι εν τη Ιδουμαία και οι εν πάση τη γη ήκουσαν ότι έδωκε βασιλεύς Βαβυλώνος κατάλειμμα τω Ιούδα και ότι κατέστησεν επ΄ αυτούς τον Γοδολίαν υιόν Αχικάμ
