LXX:
and how he entered to the king, telling [him] to hang Mordecai. But as much as he attempted to bring bad [things] upon the Jews, upon himself it came to pass; and he was hanged, he and his children.

και ως εισήλθε προς τον βασιλέα λέγων κρεμάσαι τον Μαρδοχαίον όσα δε επεχείρησεν επάξαι επί τους Ιουδαίους κακά επ΄ αυτόν εγένοντο και εκρεμάσθη αυτός και τα τέκνα αυτού
