The Destruction of Jerusalem

LXX:
And he led against them [the] king of [the] Chaldeans, and he killed their young men by [the] broadsword in [the] house of his sanctuary. And he did not spare the young men. And their virgins he did not show mercy [on], and their elders he took away -- whole he delivered up into their hands.

και ήγαγεν επ΄ αυτούς βασιλέα Χαλδαίων και απέκτεινε τους νεανίσκους αυτών εν ρομφαία εν οίκω αγιάσματος αυτού και ουκ εφείσατο των νεανίσκων και τας παρθένους αυτών ουκ ηλέησε και τους πρεσβυτέρους αυτών απήγαγεν τα πάντα παρέδωκεν εν χερσίν αυτών
