LXX:
And at the time when Amaziah departed from the lord, they made an attempt against him in a conspiracy in Jerusalem, and he fled unto Lachish; but they sent after him unto Lachish, and they killed him there.

και εν τω καιρώ ω απέστη Αμασίας από του κυρίου και επέθεντο αυτώ επίθεσιν εν Ιερουσαλήμ και έφυγεν εις Λαχίς και απέστειλαν κατόπισθεν αυτού εις Λαχίς και εθανάτωσαν αυτόν εκεί
