LXX:
And the men of Ashdod beheld that [it was] so, and they spoke [saying] that, the ark of the God of Israel shall not settle with us, for his hand [is] hard against us, and against Dagon our god.

και είδον οι άνδρες Αζώτου ότι ούτως και λέγουσιν ότι ου καθήσεται η κιβωτός του θεού Ισραήλ μεθ΄ ημών ότι σκληρά η χειρ αυτού εφ΄ ημάς και επί Δαγών τον θεόν ημών
