And Saul said to Jonathan, Report to me what you have done! And Jonathan reported to him, saying, In tasting, I tasted with [the] tip of the staff, the one in my hand, a little honey; and behold, I die.

και είπε Σαούλ προς Ιωναθάν απάγγειλόν μοι τι πεποίηκας και απήγγειλεν αυτώ Ιωναθάν λέγων γευσάμενος εγευσάμην εν άκρω του σκήπτρου του εν τη χειρί μου μικρόν μέλιτος και ιδού εγώ αποθνήσκω
