Ammihud (or Ammihur) was the father of Talmai, the king of Geshur, to whom Absalom fled after killing his brother Amnon.

Ammihud, also known as Ammihur, was the father of Talmai, the king of Geshur. After Absalom, the son of King David, killed his brother Amnon, he fled to Talmai son of Ammihud, the king of Geshur. Absalom stayed with Talmai for three years before returning to Jerusalem. Geshur was a small Aramean kingdom located northeast of the Sea of Galilee.
