Qal Perfect ‎יָרַט‎ Num 22:32, app. with subject ‎הַדֶּרֶךְ‎; the way is precipitate, (RVm headlong) before me, but transitive ‎עליֿדי‎ ‎רשׁעים ירטני‎ Job 16:11 into the hands of wicked men he precipitates me (see Di; ‎יִרְטֵנִי‎ = ‎יִָֽרְטֵנִי‎; Baer's text ‎יִרְטֵנִי‎ points to √ ‎רטה‎ q. v.); hence perhaps read ‎יָרַטְתָּ‎ Num 22:32 thou hast precipitated the journey in front of me, i.e. rushed recklessly in front of me; see Di; Kau^{AT leaves untransl}.
