O Lord, to us [belongeth] confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

O LORD, we are covered with shame—our kings, our leaders, and our fathers—because we have sinned against You.

יְהוָ֗ה לָ֚נוּ בֹּ֣שֶׁת הַ פָּנִ֔ים לִ מְלָכֵ֥י נוּ לְ שָׂרֵ֖י נוּ וְ לַ אֲבֹתֵ֑י נוּ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖אנוּ לָֽ ךְ ׃
