Jeremiah 14:4⥂

Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.

The ground is cracked because no rain has fallen on the land. The farmers are ashamed; they cover their heads.

בַּעֲב֤וּר הָאֲדָמָה֙ חַ֔תָּה כִּ֛י לֹא־ הָיָ֥ה גֶ֖שֶׁם בָּאָ֑רֶץ בֹּ֥שׁוּ אִכָּרִ֖ים חָפ֥וּ רֹאשָֽׁם׃
