[He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

who has no slander on his tongue, who does no harm to his neighbor, who casts no scorn on his friend,

לֹֽא ־ רָגַ֨ל ׀ עַל ־ לְשֹׁנ֗וֹ לֹא ־ עָשָׂ֣ה לְ רֵעֵ֣הוּ רָעָ֑ה וְ֝חֶרְפָּ֗ה לֹא ־ נָשָׂ֥א עַל ־ קְרֹֽב וֹ ׃
