If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you would earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

אִם ־ אַ֭תָּה תְּשַׁחֵ֣ר אֶל ־ אֵ֑ל וְ אֶל ־ שַׁ֝דַּ֗י תִּתְחַנָּֽן ׃
