For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had torn down, and he raised up altars for the Baals and made Asherah poles. And he worshiped and served all the host of heaven.

וַ יָּ֗שָׁב וַ יִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת ־ הַ בָּמ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִתַּ֖ץ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ אָבִ֑י ו וַ יָּ֨קֶם מִזְבְּח֤וֹת לַ בְּעָלִים֙ וַ יַּ֣עַשׂ אֲשֵׁר֔וֹת וַ יִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ לְ כָל ־ צְבָ֣א הַ שָּׁמַ֔יִם וַֽ יַּעֲבֹ֖ד אֹתָֽ ם ׃
