And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid [him] on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour [it] on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.

Next, he arranged the wood, cut up the bull, placed it on the wood,

וַֽ יַּעֲרֹ֖ךְ אֶת ־ הָֽ עֵצִ֑ים וַ יְנַתַּח֙ אֶת ־ הַ פָּ֔ר וַ יָּ֖שֶׂם עַל ־ הָ עֵצִֽים ׃ וַ יֹּ֗אמֶר מִלְא֨וּ אַרְבָּעָ֤ה כַדִּים֙ מַ֔יִם וְ יִֽצְק֥וּ עַל ־ הָ עֹלָ֖ה וְ עַל ־ הָ עֵצִ֑ים
