And the number of them that lapped, [putting] their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.

And the number of those who lapped the water with their hands to their mouths was three hundred men; all the others knelt to drink.

וַ יְהִ֗י מִסְפַּ֞ר הַֽ מֲלַקְקִ֤ים בְּ יָדָ ם֙ אֶל ־ פִּי הֶ֔ם שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת אִ֑ישׁ וְ כֹל֙ יֶ֣תֶר הָ עָ֔ם כָּרְע֥וּ עַל ־ בִּרְכֵי הֶ֖ם לִ שְׁתּ֥וֹת מָֽיִם ׃ ס
