And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.

וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ זִקְנֵֽי־ גִלְעָ֖ד אֶל־ יִפְתָּ֑ח יְהוָ֗ה יִהְיֶ֤ה שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ בֵּֽינוֹתֵ֔ינוּ אִם־ לֹ֥א כִדְבָרְךָ֖ כֵּ֥ן נַעֲשֶֽׂה׃
