And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen [it].

and they shall declare, “Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it.

וְ עָנ֖וּ וְ אָמְר֑וּ יָדֵ֗י נוּ לֹ֤א שָֽׁפְכוּ֙ אֶת ־ הַ דָּ֣ם הַ זֶּ֔ה וְ עֵינֵ֖י נוּ לֹ֥א רָאֽוּ ׃
