And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

In the first month of the second year after Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai:

וַ יְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֣ה אֶל ־ מֹשֶׁ֣ה בְ מִדְבַּר ־ סִ֠ינַי בַּ שָּׁנָ֨ה הַ שֵּׁנִ֜ית לְ צֵאתָ֨ם מֵ אֶ֧רֶץ מִצְרַ֛יִם בַּ חֹ֥דֶשׁ הָ רִאשׁ֖וֹן לֵ אמֹֽר ׃
