And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said to Moses.

וַ יְחַזֵּ֤ק יְהוָה֙ אֶת ־ לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְ לֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵ הֶ֑ם כַּ אֲשֶׁ֛ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל ־ מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ ס
