And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name the LORD I did not make Myself known to them.

וָ אֵרָ֗א אֶל ־ אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶל ־ יִצְחָ֥ק וְ אֶֽל ־ יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּ אֵ֣ל שַׁדָּ֑י וּ שְׁמִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָ הֶֽם ׃
