And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
_BSB:
“Throw it on the ground,” said the LORD. So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a snake, and he ran from it.

וַ יֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הַשְׁלִיכֵ֣הוּ אַ֔רְצָ ה וַ יַּשְׁלִיכֵ֥הוּ אַ֖רְצָ ה וַ יְהִ֣י לְ נָחָ֑שׁ וַ יָּ֥נָס מֹשֶׁ֖ה מִ פָּנָֽי ו ׃
