And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that [were] under the whole heaven, were covered.

וְהַמַּ֗יִם גָּֽבְר֛וּ מְאֹ֥ד מְאֹ֖ד עַל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיְכֻסּ֗וּ כָּל־ הֶֽהָרִים֙ הַגְּבֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־ תַּ֖חַת כָּל־ הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃
