LXX:
And the war turned in that day. And the king was set upon the chariot right opposite Syria, from morning until evening. And the blood poured out from the wound into the cavity of the chariot.

και ετροπώθη ο πόλεμος εν τη ημέρα εκείνη και ο βασιλεύς ην εστηκώς επί του άρματος εξεναντίας Συρίας από πρωϊ έως εσπέρας και απέχυνε το αίμα από της πληγής εις τον κόλπον του άρματος
