LXX:
And all the people came David at the wake bread loaves still being day. And David swore by an oath, saying, Thus God do to me, and thus may he add [yet more], that [until] the sun should go down, in no way shall I taste bread nor any thing.

και ήλθε πας ο λαός περιδειπνήσαι τον Δαυίδ άρτοις έτι όυσης ημέρας και ώμοσε Δαυίδ λέγων τάδε ποιήσαι μοι ο θεός και τάδε προσθείη ότι εάν μη δύη ο ήλιος ου μη γεύσομαι άρτου ουδέ παντός τινος
