And the man said to Joab, And if you rendered unto my hands a thousand shekels of silver, in no way would I put my hand against the son of the king. For in our ears the king gave charge to you, and [to] Abishai, and [to] Ittai, saying, Guard for me the young man Absalom,

είπε δε ο ανήρ προς Ιωάβ και εάν συ παριστάς επί τας χείράς μου χιλίους σίκλους αργυρίου ου μη επιβάλω την χείρά μου επί τον υιόν του βασιλέως ότι εν τοις ωσίν ημών ενετείλατο ο βασιλεύς σοι και τω Αβεσσά και τω Εθί λέγων φυλάξατέ μοι το παιδάριον τον Αβεσαλώμ
