And the Philistines waged war against them; and [every] man of Israel failed before the Philistines, and each fled unto his tent. And there came to pass an exceedingly great calamity; and there fell from Israel thirty thousand from [the] ranks.

και επολέμησαν οι αλλόφυλοι αυτούς και πταίει ανήρ Ισραήλ ενώπιον των αλλοφύλων και έφυγεν έκαστος εις το σκήνωμα αυτού και εγένετο πληγή μεγάλη σφόδρα και έπεσον εξ Ισραήλ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες ταγμάτων
