LXX:
And it came to pass in the being a ferocious spirit from God upon Saul, that David took the lute, and strummed with his hand. And Saul was refreshed, and it was good to him, and the ferocious spirit abstained from him.

και εγένετο εν τω είναι παρά θεού πνεύμα πονηρόν επί Σαούλ και ελάμβανε Δαυίδ την κινύραν και έψαλλεν εν τη χειρί αυτού και ανέψυχε Σαούλ και αγαθόν ην αυτώ και αφίστατο απ΄ αυτού το πνεύμα το πονηρόν
